On 1st of March all Bulgarians celebrate Baba Marta Day. It symbolizes the beginning of the spring and is one my favourite holidays. On this day we give each other bracelets which are called martenitsi and are made of white and red threads. The red colour symbolizes vital energy and the white one – purity and happiness. We gave martenitsi to all students of the college, wishing them health and joy. For me, this day means better time and makes me dream of my favourite season - the spring and its beautiful flowers.
