Visiting the local theater
 

On 25^th January we visited the local theater as well. The performance was made on the Giovanni Boccaccio’s book – Decameron. I was impressed! It was a brilliant show with wonderful decoration and performance. I didn’t think that the local theater could have such a performance, but I can’t find anything negative. The play was made like a parody of the lechery described in the book and it was extremely amusing. On this date the actors played in honor of the great Bulgarian actor Kosta Tsonev who passed away on the same day. It was a day full of emotions – both sadness and joy merged in one which made the evening memorable!

Making Valentine's cards and bracelets

On 25^th January we continued with the preparation of St. Valentine’s cards and made some bracelets as well. They were made of small beads in hearts shape and thin threads (silver or golden). They were very simple and that’s why I liked them. I don’t like those ornate, kitsch jewels. Anyway, it was a funny day, we enjoyed making the card and the bracelets and again we talked about St. Valentine’s. I have a song in my mind:

Smile day

25^th January is the World Smile Day. On 24^th we made stickers which were given on the next day to the students of the college. Of course, they were accompanied with huge smiles from us. I think this is a nice holiday, if we can call it that way. It is time to remember that we should smile more often. The smile is something that can make your day better. And it is pleasant when you see other people smiling.

Making Valentine's cards

On 18^th January we have started the preparation of the day of love – St. Valentine’s.  We bought cards, wrote wishes for love and stick small roses and ribbons on them. They were simple but very sweet – a little joy for everybody. We intend to sell some of them in the college and to give others in the center if the city. During the meeting we had a lot of fun – we talked about 14^th February and made plans. Sometimes it is good to fly in the sky! 

Charity club - organizational meeting

 On 10^th January the school charity club had an organizational meeting for the second term. We have planned all activities, including St. Valentine’s Day, 1^st March – Baba Marta Day and our visits of the local residence for old people. As I told you many times before, I dislike this kind of meetings because everybody shouts and they are waste of time, so I don’t have anything more to say.
