Making martenitsi On 21st February I had a task to do. I had to make martenitsi for 1st March. As I mentioned before it is a Bulgarian holiday. I don't want to repeat my words but I'm attaching a link to wikipedia where you can find more about the holiday.
Making martenitsi is quite boring and I'm not really into it but I love the holiday because it symbolizes the coming spring and I know that soon I will go on walks in the parks and watch the blossoming of the trees.
Our work will be given away on 1st March to everybody in our school and of course for the people from the local resident home.
